This month’s meeting is in The Hive, at the business hub at the University of the West of Scotland.

The Hive is a collaboration space and it’s available to the local and wider business community, as well as university students and staff.

A warm welcome awaits, with meeting rooms, modular presentation and plenary spaces, 3D printers and more. If you want to meet with colleagues or potential clients, work quietly or have an informal chat, this great space is ideal for any event.

This month’s guest presenter is Ross Anderson (also known as the Motivational Dude) who is a speaker, trainer and consultant specialising in wellbeing, psychology and human optimisation. His training and keynotes have been delivered in 180 countries over 5 continents. He works with several fortune 500 companies, is ACCA Global’s representative for Development, and Dell Technologies Ambassador for Mental Health & Wellbeing.

December 15th

Our Christmas lunch is a time for businesses to relax, get to know each other in a social environment and give a donation to charity.

This year it’s for The Star Project who support vulnerable people with food and other essentials, at a time when they need it the most. The lunch is £25.50 for 3 courses (it’s not free!) and the menu will be emailed when you sign up, together with a paypal link. This has to be done by the week before the event.

There will still be an opportunity to network, so bring your business cards, QR codes or social media links!

This month, Renfrewshire Business Network has partnered with Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce and Clyde Training Solutions. This is a great opportunity to network with a wide range of businesses in a welcoming environment, and introduce your own businesses.

DCC offers great support for businesses within and outwith Dunbartonshire, and has many benefits for members. They also run a variety of events throughout the year, so there is something for everyone.

Clyde Training Solutions has established itself as a high-quality provider of training for maritime, offshore, renewables and personnel. They are based in Glasgow, and cover the whole of Scotland.

They are a bespoke software company, but rather than just ticking a few digital boxes they will actually support your business journey.

March 31st

The 4th Trade Mission to Barbados is being launched on the 31st of March at Yotel Glasgow from 9.30-11.30am, followed by lunch.

The presentation will highlight the ease of doing business in the Caribbean, available opportunities for all sectors, and networking with a variety of businesses.

The event is supported by RBN, Invest Barbados, the Department for Trade and Business and officially opened by HE Milton Inniss, Barbados High Commissioner in London.

It’s an opportunity to learn about exporting to the Caribbean, hear from SME’s who are setting up there, and enjoy networking too!

Mar 31st, The Wee Retreat

It’s great to be getting back to face-to-face networking, and exciting that we have another great venue for this month’s meeting. 

The Wee Retreat is an award winning meditation & well-being centre offering mindfulness meditation courses & retreats as well as other wellbeing events to increase personal awareness & a sense of peace.
